Latourba Chardonnay —
Allow me to introduce you to a wine I truly admire.
Winery & Terroir :
Perched above Qaraoun Lake, the vineyards of Latourba are said to capture the whispers of ancient civilizations that once cultivated these lands, making each bottle a bridge between past and present. Latourba is a 45‑hectare estate in the West Bekaa Valley, perched on slopes overlooking the Qaraoun Lake. Its vineyards grow on stone, clay, and limestone soils, benefiting from a unique microclimate created by the lake and the surrounding mountains.
Tasting Note:
This single‑vineyard Chardonnay shows a bright yellow‑gold color. It opens with aromas of peach, pineapple, and citrus, with subtle hints of smoke and dried fruit. The palate is rich and honeyed, with tropical fruit flavors and a creamy texture balanced by refreshing acidity. Pairs wonderfully with grilled fish, roasted poultry, shellfish,
and aged cheeses. Also makes a refined aperitif.
