Winery & Terroir
Château Qanafar stands in the village of Qanafar – West Bekaa, a zone known for its altitude (around 1,200 m) and its bright, dry climate that ensures optimal ripening with controlled freshness. The soils—limestone and clay—give the estate’s reds their signature combination of purity, tension, and fine aromatic precision.
Tasting Note
Focused and expressive bouquet of black cherry, plum, violet, dark chocolate, and subtle spice lead the way. The palate is clean, structured, and elegantly concentrated: ripe fruit, fresh acidity, firm but polished tannins, and a long, lifted finish shaped by the altitude. A wine that speaks with clarity and confidence. Excellent with grilled lamb, beef tenderloin, barbecue short ribs, or mushroom-based dishes.
