Winery & Terroir
Château Ksara, the oldest continuously operating winery in Lebanon, sits in Zahlé – Central Bekaa Valley, where warm days and cool nights shape powerful, structured reds. The vineyards rest on limestone and gravel soils between 900– 1,000 m, giving the Third Millenium its vibrant backbone and refined aromatic lift.
Tasting Note :
This cuvée offers a deep, confident nose of blackberries, cassis, licorice, tobacco leaf, and cracked pepper, wrapped in subtle oak. The palate is bold yet polished, with dark fruit concentration, firm tannins, and a long mineral finish. Decanting is highly recommended to let the wine stretch fully into its elegance. Perfect with aged ribeye, grilled lamb chops, duck with berry reduction, or a truffle-mushroom risotto. For cheese lovers: aged Comté or Pecorino.
