Winery & Terroir
Château Khoury rises on the slopes of Dhour Dahr el-Baydar – East Bekaa, at nearly 1,300 m altitude, one of the highest vineyard sites in Lebanon. This location gifts the estate with a rare mix of intense sunlight and sharp nighttime coolness, allowing long, slow ripening. The soils—limestone, clay, depth to this mature and elegantly built 2010 cuvée.
Tasting Note :
A beautifully evolved nose of dried black cherry, cedar, leather, fig, sweet spice, and a touch of cocoa opens gracefully. The palate is silky yet persistent, carrying finegrained tannins and layered flavors that move from macerated fruit to earthy minerality. The finish is long, warm, and confidently mature—an orchestra playing in slow motion. Ideal with slow-cooked lamb shoulder, beef Wellington, duck
confit, or a mature Gouda or Tomme de Savoie.
