Winery & Terroir
Litaj Red comes from a single vineyard in Saghbine, West Bekaa, crafted under the expertise of Mr. Elie Chehwane. The plot sits on limestone-rich soils at altitude, where warm Bekaa days meet crisp evening breezes, shaping wine with natural balance and quiet intensity. This site gives Litaj its identity: focused fruit, refined structure, and a purity that reflects Latourba’s precision-driven philosophy.
Tasting Note :
In the glass, Litaj Red unfolds with black cherry, ripe plum, and licorice, elegantly touched by cedar and cocoa. The mouthfeel is silky yet firm, with polished tannins and a long, harmonious finish. This is a confident, expressive wine — deliberate, structured, and unmistakably shaped by its single vineyard origin.
Best pairing : ribeye with peppercorn sauce, slow-cooked beef, lamb shoulder with herbs, or aged cheddar.
