Winery & Terroir:
Château Trois Collines is crafted from high-altitude vineyards located in the northeastern Bekaa hills, planted between 1,450 and 1,650 meters. These elevations create strong day– night temperature shifts, preserving freshness and aromatic purity—ideal conditions for Pinot Noir. The soils are rocky, limestone-rich and clay-calcareous, offering excellent drainage and a mineral backbone. The winery itself is based in Dahr el Baïdar (Mount Lebanon), where cool mountain conditions support precise vinification and slow, controlled ageing. Sustainable farming and solar-powered operations reflect the estate’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
Tasting Note:
Color: Deep ruby with a bright, elegant translucence.
Nose: A lightly gamy and mineral opening followed by pure red fruit—cherry, red berries and a subtle floral lift.
Palate: Soft, fresh and well-balanced with lively acidity. Tannins are present but gentle, giving a smooth, lingering finish with finesse rather than force.
Pairing: Excellent with lightly spiced dishes, grilled or roasted poultry, duck breast, herb-seasoned lamb, or delicate game. It also pairs beautifully with mushroom risotto, soft cheeses, and dishes highlighting earthy tones that complement its mineral profile.
